Connecting a wallet
Your Solana wallet is your identity on OVA. No signup, no password — just your wallet.
Supported wallets
- Phantom — Most popular Solana wallet, browser extension and mobile
- Solflare — Feature-rich wallet with staking support
How to connect
- Click “Connect Wallet” in the top right corner
- A popup appears showing available wallets
- Select your wallet (Phantom or Solflare)
- Your wallet extension opens asking to connect
- Click “Connect” in your wallet to approve
Signing in
After connecting, you need to sign in by signing a message. This proves you own the wallet without exposing your private key.
- Click “Sign In” after connecting your wallet
- Your wallet shows a message to sign
- Review the message (it includes the site URL and a unique nonce)
- Click “Sign” to approve
- You are now logged in
Switching networks
OVA currently runs on Devnet. Make sure your wallet is set to Devnet:
- Phantom: Settings → Developer Settings → Change Network → Devnet
- Solflare: Settings → Network → Devnet
Troubleshooting
Wallet not detected
Make sure your wallet extension is installed and enabled. Try refreshing the page.
Signature failed
The sign-in nonce expires after 5 minutes. Refresh and try again.
Wrong network
Ensure your wallet is set to Devnet, not Mainnet.
