Billing & metering
OVA uses a simple pay-as-you-go model. No subscriptions, no commitments. You maintain a prepaid balance and usage is deducted automatically.
How billing works
- Top up: Send SOL or USDC to add credits to your balance.
- Use: Start sessions and chat with the agent.
- Metering: Usage is tracked per minute and per token.
- Deduction: Costs are automatically deducted from your balance.
- Low balance: Sessions stop if balance runs out.
- Withdraw: Unused balance can be sent back to the wallet you signed in with.
Pricing components
Desktop time
You are charged for every minute your session is active, regardless of whether you are actively using it. This covers the compute resources for your sandbox.

LLM tokens
You are charged for the tokens used by the AI model. Only computer-use models with vision and tool calling are listed. Calls are routed through an open inference market and billed at the cost it reports, capped at the list price below, plus a 20% platform fee.

Usage tracking
You can see your current session’s usage in the status bar:
- Desktop minutes: Total time since session start
- Tokens used: Total LLM tokens consumed
- Balance: Your remaining credits
Low balance behavior
When your balance gets low:
- You will see a warning when balance falls below the cost of ~5 minutes
- If balance hits zero during a session, the session will automatically stop
- Any unsaved work in the sandbox will be lost
- Top up and start a new session to continue
Withdrawals
From Billing, withdraw unused balance to the same Solana address you signed in with. Nothing can be sent to a different wallet. The amount is taken off your account first; if the on-chain transfer fails it is credited back.
- Running agents reserve their remaining idle desktop time, so you cannot cash out funds they still need.
- Each request has a minimum, a maximum and a per-hour cap set by the operator.
- Large amounts can be held for manual approval. Declined holds return to your balance.
- Confirmed payouts link to Solscan from the withdrawal history.
Receipts & history
Deposits and withdrawals are recorded on Solana. Billing lists each one with its status and an explorer or Solscan link. Usage records stay on your account and are not currently exportable.
